We've come a long ways...

I was driving by the condo's dumpster and saw this old TV with its remote sitting on top of it, I saw the thickness of it and the Wow! factor kicked in... I had to stop and pick it up. The TV was in very bad shape otherwise I would have picked it up for some cool shots in the middle of the desert or something.
I couldn't help but to compare it to the minimalist MacBook Pro remote which in conjunction with the laptop is used to activate Front Row and navigate through media, you can even use the remote to control Keynote presentations, very cool stuff.



Now, I'm not sure how this thing transmits the signal but I suspect there might be some radiation involved ;-)
