Myra & Fred - March 24 Wedding
Yesterday I had a great day shooting Myra and Fred's wedding. Cool people, beautiful cozy reception venue and a fun day overall.
As you can see I had plenty of time to play with the rings

Techie stuff: I did this first shot (above) with a 50mm 1.8 and the Kenko extension tube set. I don't own a macro lens so this sutep is what I use when I need to get REAL close. Get yours HERE

The groom working on his words

Fred looking sharp

Myra and Yvette at the Westin

The happy couple

Armen, the best man, is a very cool guy... thanks for your hospitality!

I really enjoyed shooting at Cafe Santorini's Rococo Room in Pasadena... beautiful cozy place
Long exposure from across the street

Margarita Luna and her band kept everyone entertained and on the dance floor the whole time

I wanty to thank my friend Marlon Lopez for helping me out and getting some great shots. He's a graphic designer and is putting together a killer website for his photography... coming soon.

I'm switching to Canon...
... on all my point-and-shoot cameras that is ;-)
I'm now the proud owner of a PowerShot G7, just in time for WPPI in Vegas!

Larger images on the blog
From now on you don't have to click on the images to enlarge them.
I've been wanting to post larger images on the blog for a while but Blogger is not very flexible... well, it is but you have to tweak a lot of the code... anyway, I took the time to tweak the template and I think it's working alright. Please post a comment and let me know if you see any weird stuff on the page. Thanks!

Courtney & Jeremiah - March 17 Wedding
Yesterday I had the great pleasure to 2nd shoot for the first time for Erin Sullivan. I met Erin while we attended Mike Colón's 4-day intensive seminar last year and I've been wanting to shoot with her since.
The weather was great in Pasadena and the reception site was beautiful. The Maranatha Campus is surrounded by lots of green and huge trees that provided awesome open shade. I love the warm colors you get as a result when you have that combination.
Now to some photos:

The ring bearer... No! He wasn't posing for the camera, I saw him sitting like this and I shot him.
